This platform is an Artificial Intelligence-driven research tool and Strategic Navigator. It is not a legal practitioner as defined by the Legal Practice Act 28 of 2014 (LPA).
- No Attorney-Client Relationship: Use of this platform does not constitute or create an attorney-client relationship.
- Information vs. Advice: All outputs—including Strategy Maps, Forensic Audits, and Drafted Documents—constitute legal information for research purposes only.
- Mandatory Human Review: Under Section 33 of the LPA, only qualified legal practitioners may provide legal advice for a fee. All AI-generated drafts must be reviewed and signed off by a human legal practitioner before service or filing.
3. Billing, Plans & Refund Policy (CPA Compliance)
- Pricing Tiers: Access is provided via “The Day Advocate” (R149 once-off), “The Associate” (R350/pm), “The Senior Partner” (R650/pm), or “Senior Partner +” (R1950/pm).
- Payment Processing: Securely processed via Paystack (PCI-DSS Level 1). We do not store credit card details on our servers.
- Refund Policy: Per the Consumer Protection Act, digital services executed immediately are considered consumed. No refunds are issued once an audit or report has been generated.
- Cancellation: Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via the Workspace Settings.
4. Accuracy & Technical Failsafes
- The Hallucination Warning: While Larry utilizes advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) grounded in 23GB of law, AI can still produce “hallucinations”.
- Verification Duty: The duty to verify all citations against the original source remains strictly with the user.
- Source Links: Larry provides direct links to source PDFs in the Cloud Vault to facilitate immediate human verification.
5. Privacy & Data Integrity (POPIA Compliance)
We have upgraded our architecture to provide a persistent “Matter Workspace” while adhering to the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
- Matter Persistence: To support “Work in Progress” features, your chat history and matter titles are stored in an encrypted Google Firestore database.
- Document Processing: Uploaded PDFs are processed via secure Google Cloud Vision. These documents are stored in secure, private Cloud Storage buckets and are not accessible to other users.
- No Training: We strictly do not use your confidential case facts, uploaded documents, or strategic prompts to train any public AI models.
- Right to Erasure: Users retain full control. You may permanently delete any “Matter” from your sidebar, which triggers an immediate deletion of that specific history from our Firestore database.
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit via TLS and at rest via AES-256 within the Google Cloud environment.
6. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this agreement will be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and the jurisdiction of the KwaZulu-Natal Division of the High Court.
